Life gets busy which is why I am a huge fan of at home workouts. I don’t always have the energy to pack up my kid and head to the gym. The truth is you don’t need the gym to get your body moving because there are tons of great workout videos at our finger tips.
All you need is: some space where you can move & sweat, a computer or iPad, yoga mat, and to kick it up a notch 3-10 lbs weights.
Even if you haven’t worked out in months, start with a simple basic cardio workout. I always say just get moving– even if it is just 10 minutes work your way up each day. Research shows that moving our bodies for just 20 minutes a day can improve your mood for up to 12 hours afterwards.
