Pool Day Essentials

IMG_0202.JPGIMG_0203.JPGIMG_0201.JPGIMG_0206.JPG1. Madewell Fest Aviator Glasses are those timeless round aviator sunglasses. At first I didn’t think I could pull off the smaller aviator look, but as Rachel Zoe says, ” I see bold accessories as a woman’s armor.” After an hour wearing them, I am so in love!

2. Target has some of the best inexpensive swim suits. Xhilaration Embellished Triangle Bikini Top is a super festive triangle top that is multi-colored and embellished with silver and rose gold studs. A total steal for $19.99 and the fits so well. Miss B’s was wearing her  iplay tulip ruffle swimsuit with built-in swim diaper, which is a must when with a one year old!

3. I had to kick up the pool day a notch by bringing a easy to inflate baby float flamingo for Miss B. I may be 30 years old but I love anything flamingo, if I didn’t spend most of my day in the kiddy pool I would have brought this amazing huge Floral Flamingo from Urban Outfitters. Like so many people loving and wanting a giant pool float for the Summer… here are a few more of my favorites Giant Swan, Giant Donuts.

4. I am not a expert on sunscreen for kids but I thought I would share my favorite with you. Babyganics Mineral based Sunscreen 50+spf has ingredients that both defend against sun rays and nourish delicate skin. I love it because the ingredients are way more natural than other sunscreen and it doesn’t have a weird odor. I also love how it applies, when you have a one year old who won’t sit still putting on sunscreen is WORK! I love that Babyganics rubs in the skin right away and it doesn’t leave her looking that weird sunscreen white.

Hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day weekend– mine was filled with all my favorite Arizona things! I’ll post about it more later this week.
